How we listened in June 2024
Roadstone organised a Public Information Drop-In Event at the Horse & Jockey on the evening of Tuesday 25th June 2024. Local residents and interested parties received notice through a letter drop and newspaper advertisement in the weeks beforehand. Over 61 members of the public attended to meet directly with Roadstone personnel and project advisors, ask questions, and share their views on the development.
What happened at the drop-in session
Display boards around the meeting room showed the project background, proposed site layout, and 3-D concept views. Attendees could speak one-to-one with Roadstone staff and advisors, ask questions about the development, and discuss any concerns. Feedback was collected in person and by email to info@roadstone.ie, with the submission deadline later extended to 23rd August 2024 to allow more time for responses.
You Voice Matters
Roadstone gave people more time to send written comments and questions. The submission period was extended to 23rd August 2024 following a request from a local Councillor, ensuring everyone had a fair chance to be heard.
